The Solution
The Dedicated Freight Corridors are a large-scale government project built to drive freight transportation technology into the future, something we know very well.
This mega project required more than 250 precast box culvert bridges and 300 km of precast drains over ten packages, making FUJI Silvertech a pioneer in size and scale in the railway sector. As load bearing and IRS compliance were primary requisites, the box culvert bridges were designed for 32.5 T railway axle loading and varied from 1.2m x 1m to 3m x 3m in size.
The project requirements demanded innovation, so we designed and manufactured huge T-shape segmental retaining walls of up to 10m in height. These structures are now the most prominent designed precast solutions for retaining walls in India.
