World Kindness Day Celebration - Small Act, Big Impact!

As part of our World Kindness Day celebrations, the Fuji family carried out a heartwarming social welfare initiative at their Head Office (Ahmedabad) and Plant Locations (Bagodara & Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar), showcasing the values that FUJI stands for and spreading the spirit of kindness, empathy and compassion that brings us all closer together.

Across locations, our employees and their family members came together to make a difference through a 10-Day Charity Drive in collaboration with Aajeevika Trust at Ahmedabad and two local NGOs at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar - Bhagwanbaba Balika Anathalay & Rehabilitation Centre and Urmi Ashram.

At Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, we distributed essential items such as clothes, winter wear, footwear, toys and daily-use products including toiletries, soaps and biscuits. We’re especially grateful for the generous contribution of 720 sanitary pads and the ₹10,000 voluntarily raised by employees from various departments, supporting the health and dignity of young girls at the NGO and furthering this noble cause.

Meanwhile at Ahmedabad location, we donated clothes, footwear, toys and other essentials that reached families and children in Fulwadi, empowering rural migrant communities and spreading joy.

We’re deeply thankful to every employee who contributed, volunteered or helped organize these activities. Together, we truly filled boxes and hearts with kindness.

The Power of Team Ownership in Evolving Safety Culture

At Fuji Silvertech Bagodara Plant, continuous efforts have been made to strengthen our Safety Culture. Over the past 2.5 years, our team has successfully deployed Toolbox Talks (TBTs) as a key medium to achieve our objective of enhanced involvement and ownership of the shopfloor team in safety interventions.

This initiative has generated mass awareness and gradually fostered a deep sense of ownership across all levels. What once began as a practice led primarily by Safety Officers is now majorly driven by the shopfloor team—including workmen, operators, engineers, and officers.

This shift has resulted in an impressive 150% increase in daily TBTs, rising from 0.51 to 1.24 per shift.

The real success, however, goes far beyond numbers. Safety has evolved from being instructed to being owned, reflecting greater responsibility, awareness, and care for one another.

This transformation truly embodies our core philosophy of Safety First. Each TBT reinforces our collective commitment to proactive safety and our shared vision of Zero Harm.
